What Is It?

Fillings are a procedure that works to treat cavities. First, the decayed portion of your tooth will need to be removed. Once completed and the tooth is clear of decay, the problem tooth will be further cleaned of any bacteria or debris.

Depending on where the decay is, composite resin or similar compound will be used to keep the nerve from causing you further pain. Lastly, Dr. Mehta will finish the filling by polishing it. This is to ensure that your teeth have a seamless appearance and function correctly.
